One of the first discoveries participants experience is Portrait to Landscape—a simple yet powerful concept that often changes the way they communicate, lead, and connect.
As humans, we naturally tend to position ourselves portrait—facing one another directly. Horses, however, communicate differently. They are most comfortable when we learn to work landscape—moving alongside them with awareness, intention, and respect for their space.
This subtle shift is about far more than body position. It becomes a powerful lesson in leadership, communication, trust, and influence. As participants experience this new perspective with horses, they often discover new ways to communicate, lead, and connect with the people in their lives as well.
